Frankfort, KY – Each of Kentucky's two major gubernatorial candidates are being accused of violating state ethics laws by the chairmen of each opposing political party. Republican Party Chairman Steve Robertson is accusing Democratic Governor Steve Beshear of pressuring state employees for campaign contributions, while Democratic Party Chairman Dan Logsdon is accusing Republican challenger David Williams of not reporting his gambling winnings from 2002. Spokespersons from each party are calling the other's accusations politically motivated. Kentucky's gubernatorial election takes place this November.
