Murray, KY – A Murray woman faces charges of theft in Calloway County for scamming charitable residents. 28 year old Kayla Belcher is accused of attempting to keep money she collected for the Kentucky Special Olympics. Kentucky State Police Trooper Dean Patterson says that Belcher collected just over $200 from local residents. Belcher was arrested while serving time in the Marshall County Jail for unrelated charges.
