Murray, KY – Residents of Webster County will soon receive federal aid for damage stemming from this years' spring flooding and a tornado in the city of Poole. FEMA funds totaling $538,000 will go to more than 60 individuals who filed requests for assistance. Much of the FEMA money will go to repairing structures, temporary housing, and damaged items inside effected homes. FEMA has also coordinated with the Cardinal Chapter of the American Red Cross, which serves Webster County to assist those households that did not qualify for assistance.
