McCracken County, KY – Motorists traveling eastbound on Interstate 24 in western Kentucky may encounter some construction work this week. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says workers will be paving overnight starting at the Exit 3 overpass and continuing to the Buckner Lane overpass about two miles east. The work is likely to continue until next Monday. The cabinet advises using caution as equipment, flaggers and construction workers will be on the roadway close to traffic. The work zone will include a reduced speed limit, double fines and enhanced enforcement.
