Murray, KY – Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White says he plans to run for a fifth term, a reversal of the position he took before last year's election. White made the announcement yesterday at the Illinois State Fair. White is 77. He'll be 80 at the time of his next election. White compared his tenure as secretary of state to his experience as a paratrooper. He says you don't jump and go halfway.
