Murray, KY – The McCracken County Fiscal Court has hired a local brokerage firm to begin the process of securing bonds for a planned Murray State Campus in Paducah. Fiscal Court Commissioners approved a motion to hire the Paducah-based firm, Hilliard Lyons at the recommendation of City Treasurer Angie Brown. The Paducah Sun reports the firm will work to secure the $10 million of financing needed for the project. McCracken County Judge-Executive Van Newberry says Hilliard Lyons expects to finish securing financing options in two to three months.
