Louisville, KY – The grand champion ham produced by Kuttawa's Broadbent B&B Foods sold for $600,000 at this morning's annual State Fair ham breakfast. Louisville-based Republic Bank submitted the top bid for the nearly 17-pound ham. Republic executive Steve Trager says the money will go to education and health care charities. Last year's champion ham sold for a record $1.6 million.
