Murray, KY – A Paris woman is suing the Henry County Sheriff's Department for 100-thousand dollars alleging unlawful arrest and false imprisonment. Brandy Maher names Sheriff Monte Belew, investigator David Doyle in the suit along with department. Law enforcement arrested Maher in October 2010 for alleged use of a stolen debit card to purchase $110 dollars in merchandise from a Paris business. The Henry County General Sessions Court dismissed the case for lack of evidence.
