Murray, KY – A power failure at a Cadiz substation earlier this morning knocked electricity to around 8 thousand Pennyrile Rural Electric customers in Trigg and Christian counties. A Pennyrile REC spokesperson reports they've since restored service to all customers. The company says they are investigating the cause of the outage.
