Calloway County, KY – Calloway County property values are on the rise. Residential home values have increased more than $33 million since 2010. The Paducah Sun reports much of the increase can be attributed to Murray State University, new business openings and lake tourism. State officials report eight of every ten homes in the county could be sold for more money than their previous assessments, hinting towards a possible recovery in the real estate market. Both Marshall and Graves Counties are also reporting a rise in home values, increasing 11 to 14 million dollars.
