Jefferson City, MO – The Missouri State Legislature is set to repeal a tax break for renters. Lawmakers will convene in a special session Tuesday to address a the state tax break for poor, disabled and elderly renters. According to projections, repeal would save Missouri $855 million over the next 15 years. Many groups in the state have vowed to fight the repeal, which is expected to pass both houses of the state legislature.
