Murray, KY – The University of Tennessee at Martin again ranks in the top tier of southern public universities. UT Martin tied for forty-ninth place among schools granting master's degrees in the U.S. News and World Report's America's Best Colleges list. The schools are rated by freshman retention, graduation rates, and financial resources. In August, the Princeton Review also listed U-T Martin among the one hundred thirty-five best colleges in the Southeast. The university has received the top-tier ranking 9 years in a row.
