Paducah, KY – Paducah mail processing operations could be cut as the US Postal Service tries to meet budget goals with decreased revenue. The Postal Service is conducting a feasibility study that will determine if Paducah services should be consolidated with the ones in Evansville. U-S-P-S says a decrease in mail volume over the past decade has left the Postal Service with increasing deficits. Officials expect to complete the study early next year to determine how the U-S-P-S can increase efficiency and productivity.
