Murray, KY – The only suspect in a 1998 Murray State University fire has been re-indicted for arson, manslaughter and other charges. A Calloway County special Grand Jury returned the indictments Wednesday against Jerry Wayne Walker. The fire took the life of then student Michael Minger. Investigators later determined the blaze was set by someone dousing carpet with gasoline. The West Kentucky Star reports a 2001 jury deadlocked on previous charges against Walker. He will be arraigned this morning in a Calloway County court.
