Paducah, KY – A Franklin County Circuit Court Judge has ordered Superway Incorporated to cease fuel sales at six Paducah locations. The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet obtained a judgement in February requiring Superway to complete remedial measures to bring their underground fuel storage tanks into compliance with environmental regulations. The company has made no efforts to complete the measures leading a judge to find the business in contempt of court. WPSD TV reports officials are placing locks on gas pumps at the locations today. Superway has 60 days to comply with court requirements.
