Conway Files Lawsuit Against National College

By Todd Hatton

Murray, KY – Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway is taking another for-profit college to court, alleging a violation of the Commonwealth's consumer protection law by making deceptive claims about job placement successes. Conway announced a lawsuit against National College of Kentucky Tuesday. Conway accuses National College of misrepresenting the number of students placed into jobs. Conway claims National College has put its bottom line ahead of students. National College asked a judge in January to halt the attorney general's investigation, saying it wasn't supported by sufficient evidence of wrongdoing.
