Kentucky Picked for Undergraduate Project

By Todd Hatton

Murray, KY – Kentucky is one of eight states selected for a new project to assess and improve undergraduate student learning. The state Council on Postsecondary Education says Kentucky will receive $120,000 for faculty development and new assessment approaches over three years. Council President Bob King says it's anticipated that participating will help improve student achievement, facilitate effective student transfer and increase college completion rates. The Quality Collaboratives project is sponsored by the Association of American Colleges and Universities and supported with funding from the Lumina Foundation for Education.
