Frankfort, KY – Democratic Governor Steve Beshear and Republican challenger David Williams have both received "A" ratings from the National Rifle Association. NRA Kentucky Liaison Heidi Keesling says the group won't be making an official endorsement in the race. She says the ratings should not be considered political endorsements and puts both candidates on equal footing with gun advocates. Independent candidate Gatewood Galbraith did not receive a rating. Governor Beshear holds a significant 31 point lead over Williams heading into the November 8th general election.
