Murray, KY – Incumbent Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway has picked up National Rifle Association support in his bid for re-election. Republican challenger Todd P'Pool has not received an NRA endorsement. The non-partisan group says its endorsement and "A" rating for Conway will let NRA members know he is pro-gun and pro-hunting and supports the right to keep and bear arms. Conway is one of only two Kentucky candidates to receive the endorsement this year. Republican agriculture commissioner candidate James Comer is the other. The NRA opted not to endorse either of Kentucky's gubernatorial candidates, choosing instead to give both Democratic Governor Steve Beshear and Republican candidate David Williams "A" ratings.
