Murray, KY – Democratic candidate for Kentucky's first district state senate seat, Carroll Hubbard is already fundraising with more than a year to go before that election day. 74-year-old Hubbard, a former U.S. Congressman, says this will be his last run for office. GOP Incumbent Senator Ken Winters has yet to declare whether or not he'll seek re-election. 77-year-old Winters says he's waiting until January to decide if he'll run again, citing his wife's health as a major factor in his decision. Hubbard and Winters faced off in 2008 where Winters won by a narrow margin.
