Paducah, KY – The Paducah Convention Center Board meets tonight to discuss plans for the future of operations at the convention and expo center. The meeting is one of several to make recovery plans after the former convention center director was arrested last week for allegedly embezzling over $200,000. The Paducah Sun Reports Board Chairman Jim Sigler says he hopes the board will also vote on obtaining legal counsel to assist with investigation of the case. Riverfront Development Authority Director Steve Doolittle is filling in as interim director of the center until a new executive director is hired.
