Paducah, KY – A local ministry has announced they will no longer assist the homeless in Paducah's tent-city. Beyond the Gate Ministry of Paducah has been assisting the homeless for the past year, but President Stephanie Daniel says the group will no longer be serve the homeless population in the area. Daniel says the group assisted the 10 people who had lived in the tent city when the Daniel discovered the camp, helping all of them enter work programs or rehab. Currently there are 20 individuals living in tent city who Daniel claims do not wish to accept the group's help. The Paducah Sun reports there are a number of other groups dedicated to helping the homeless in tent city get back on their feet.
