Frankfort, KY – A Kentucky state appeals court has overturned Franklin Circuit Judge Thomas Wingate's 2009 ruling keeping the state's homeland security office from giving credit to Almighty God. The commonwealth's law establishing the state office requires its executive director to publicize a "dependence on Almighty God" in training and educational materials. The office can continue to give that credit following yesterday's 2-1 vote.
