Frankfort, KY – Economists for Kentucky lawmakers have revised their state budget outlook for 2012 and it's a little more optimistic. That's according to Michael Clark of the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission. Clark says the Consensus Forecasting Group initially projected revenues would grow by 1.3% next year but they have since changed their projection to 2.8%. Clark says if Kentucky revenues do increase by 2.8% percent next year, it would produce about $9 Billion for the state treasury. He says that would be almost $140 Million more than the CFG'S first estimate.
