Murray, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear was on the campaign trail this weekend promoting his party's entire ticket in advance of tomorrow's election. With polls showing him with a commanding lead, Beshear talked about working as a team with the Democratic ticket in leading the Commonwealth during the next four years. Beshear told a Lexington crowd Sunday afternoon he had guided Kentucky through the tough times of an economic recession, and he said better times are ahead. The governor stressed the importance of a strong turnout by voters in the election, when he will be challenged by Republican David Williams and independent Gatewood Galbraith.
