Murray, KY – Obion County, TN residents may soon see a surge of available jobs in their area. Union City Mayor Terry Hailey has confirmed Illinois-based Titan Tire has bought the former Goodyear plant located in the city. The plant has sat vacant since its closure last summer, which put 1,900 workers out of a job. An official announcement of the sale is expected later this morning in Union City.
