Paris, TN – A former Paris, Tennessee District Drug Task Force employee has been charged with theft and lying to a state auditor. Former administrative assistant Leona Longworth was the second person arrested last week on charges related to the task force. According to an August audit, Longworth and her ex-husband admitted to taking seized items such as drugs, utility trailers and flat-screen televisions. She also confessed to taking firearms, four-wheelers and other property for her personal use. Longworth was released on $10,000 bond. Former task force director Steve Lee was also arrested last week on charges of theft, official misconduct and lying to an auditor
