Murray, KY – The Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center is considering turning over management to the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center. The move was recommended by a CCC subcommittee tasked with investigating management options after it was discovered former Executive Director J. Patrick Kerr embezzled more than $230,000 from the center. The Paducah Sun reports all 11 members of the CCC board are set to vote on the Carson Center proposal next week. If approved, the deal would hand over management responsibilities for a monthly, flat $10,000 fee.
