Murray, KY – Former Calloway County pastor Robert Meredith will serve an 8 year prison sentence for first degree sexual abuse of a 12 year old boy. Meredith pleaded guilty to sexual abuse charges in September. On Monday Circuit Judge Dennis Foust sentenced Meredith as part of a plea agreement which requires five years of conditional discharge. The conditions require Meredith to register as a sex offender, submit a DNA sample to the state and receive treatment. He is currently lodged at the Calloway County Jail.
