Madisonville, Ky – Madisonville's Trover Health System will have a new healthcare partner tonight after over a year of searching. Trover's Strategic Planning Committee meets with the full board of directors tonight to vote on and announce their final decision. The committee has been reviewing partnership proposals from Baptist Healthcare System, LifePoint Hospitals, and Owensboro Medical Health System. A Trover spokesman says they are pursuing the partnership as a way of managing financial risk by providing more capital to increase efficiency and improved services under the new "pay for performance" healthcare laws.
