Murray, KY – A McCracken County Humane Society employee has been charged with nine counts of violating Kentucky's euthanasia statutes. 32-year-old Beau Anderson is accused of not sedating animals before euthanizing them. The West Kentucky Star reports the investigation found 4,000 animals had been put down at the McCracken County Shelter without sedation. State Law requires euthanasia specialists sedate animals before completing the process. Anderson's trial date has been set for December 1st.
