Paducah, KY – Former Paducah convention center director J. Patrick Kerr waived his arraignment in McCracken District Court this morning. Kerr was arrested in October for the alleged embezzlement of over $230,000 of convention center funds through a check cashing scheme. Kerr's initial October 18th arraignment date was postponed so he could undergo long-term residential treatment for Lortab addiction. He's scheduled to appear in court next on the morning of January 19th.
