Murray, KY – Kentucky State Police troopers are hoping to put on a few pounds over the holidays - a few pounds of food to give to organizations serving those in need. The agency is again taking food donations for its "Cram the Cruiser" campaign now through Dec. 12. KSP hope to fill a cruiser with food at headquarters in Frankfort and at each of the 16 posts around the state. Canned and non-perishable food items can be accepted, including items such as, macaroni and cheese, cereal, canned meat, spaghetti sauce, cake mixes, coffee and powdered milk. Both KSP posts 1 and 2 in Mayfield and Madisonville will be taking part in the program and accepting donations.
