Murray, KY – Representatives from the law enforcement and agriculture communities are joining forces to produce programs specifically for farmers next week in the Purchase area. The Kentucky State Police and the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service are providing a farmer outreach forum in Benton. Topics being covered include safety regulations, licensing requirements, and driver qualifications. New legislation in effect for Kentucky farm operations will also be discussed during the meeting. The public is encouraged to attend and address any concerns they may have. The meeting will be held Monday December 4th at 7 pm in the Marshall County Extension Office.
