Murray, KY – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advising motorists in our region to use extreme caution this morning due to flooded streets, county roads and highways. KYTC crews report highways across the region are flooded in multiple locations due to steady overnight rainfall on saturated ground. It's recommended you get an early start this morning, keep it slow, and allow for extra driving time. If you encounter flooded highways not marked by signs, the Cabinet asks that you report the specific location to your local 911 Call Center or your local Kentucky Department of Highways Maintenance Facility. The Transportation Cabinet is also updating traffic advisories for our region on their Facebook page.
