Murray, KY – Two Hopkins County Sheriff's Deputies and a KSP trooper are in the hospital following a shootout in Hopkins County. Law Enforcement officials were called to a Hanson residence Monday afternoon in response to an armed man who had barricaded himself in his home. Negotiators attempted to speak to the individual who eventually exited the premises and began shooting at police. The three officers were struck before the perpetrator was shot. All four men were transported to the Regional Medical Center. Their conditions are not being released at this time. The Hopkins County Sheriff's Department and Kentucky State Police are investigating the incident.
