Six Graves County High School Students Face Possible Drug Charges

By Drew Adams

Murray, KY – Six Graves County High School students are facing drug charges after one of the students was found unconscious on the bus ride home Friday. The teen was rushed to the hospital and found to be under the influence of an unnamed substance. The students ingested the substance at school before boarding the bus. The five remaining teens were arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance. The condition of the student has not been released, but she was taken Jackson Purchase Medical Center where she received treatment. The Paducah Sun reports the students face disciplinary action from the school district; however the district will not take action until the criminal investigation concludes.
