Carlisle Bus Driver Charged

Murray, KY – A Carlisle County woman has been charged in connection with a fatal school bus crash in May of this year. A Grand Jury has indicted 58-year-old Anita Roach, who was driving the bus at the time of the incident. The charges come on the heels of a six month investigation by the Kentucky State Police. Roach is being charges with 27 total counts, which include Manslaughter, Assault, wanton endangerment, and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, a practice better known as doctor shopping. Roach has previously claimed the accident, which killed six-year-old Logan Simpson was caused by a deer entering the roadway.
