Murray, KY – A McCracken County woman has been arrested after she allegedly took medicine prescribed for a patient from a nursing facility where she worked. Paducah Police say registered nurse and Lisa G. Helton, allegedly took pain killer tablets. The pills were supposed to be administered to patients at Superior Care Home of Paducah. Helton was terminated just prior to her arrest. Drug and Vice Enforcement Unit detectives arrested Helton on Thursday and held her in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
