Fancy Farm, KY – Two Graves County families have been displaced after their joint residence burned down Monday. The Fancy Farm Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze just after 10:30 in the morning. Fancy Farm Fire Chief James Smith says they believe the fire started in a cook stove and quickly spread throughout the house. Smith calls the residence a complete loss saying there was little that could be salvaged. American Red Cross Graves County chapter representative have placed the two families in a motel, and provided them with hygiene items and money for food. No serious injuries were reported.
