Murray, KY – Governor Steve Beshear wants Kentuckians to decide for themselves whether more forms of gambling should be allowed in the Commonwealth. Beshear says political leaders shouldn't make voters wait any longer to have their voices heard on the long-debated gaming issue. The governor claims allowing voters to decide on changing the state constitution could keep money in Kentucky. State lawmakers say they expect pressure from the Governor's office for just such a ballot during the upcoming legislative session.
