Clarksville, TN – Many CDE Lightband customers have seen their electric bills doubled from last month due to last month's colder weather in Clarksville, Tennessee. According to the Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle, CDE says December was 63 percent colder overall than November. CDE energy services manager Jim Manning says the lower temperatures and the fact that for most residential customers, the heating system is the largest user of energy in the home, sparked the rise.
