Murray, KY – All of Kentucky's state park resorts will remain open through the winter months this year. The announcement Tuesday by the Department of Parks means all lodge rooms and cottages will be open, seven days a week during January and February. The hours of operation will be adjusted for some restaurants at the 17 resort parks. Recreation parks and historic sites are operating under winter hours. Guests should check in advance for details. Several Kentucky State Park campgrounds also remain open during the winter. They include Carter Caves, Columbus-Belmont, Fort Boonesborough, General Butler, Levi Jackson and Pennyrile Forest.
