No more four day sangria binges. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment.

NPR reports Spain's government will move any holidays that fall on Tuesday or Thursday to Monday, essentially eliminating the four day weekend.

Kentucky ~ Rock the vote. A Paducah softball coach is arrested for rape. The government will shell out millions for wetlands. Vets can get job training help.

Illinois ~ Quinn says lawmakers are distracted by gambling and other "shiny things". The House cuts out legislative scholarships

Tennessee ~ Rocky Mountain spotted fever, oh my! (seriously, check for ticks). And boat safely this weekend.

Gary Pitts is a music loving outdoorsman who coincidentally loves outdoor music. He is a student at Murray State pursuing a music minor to complement his history major. Gary is a member of the MSU Guitar Ensemble and greatly enjoys the Latin grooves he and the other ensemble members get throw down on. When he is not producing news, jamming on his guitar, or pursuing music history research, he is usually canoeing or biking somewhere in nature with his wife Siobian.
