An exhibit of artwork by local artist Annette Mooso Sitton opens this Friday at the Murray Art Guild Gallery. The show includes nature-inspired painting, drawing, and fiber art. There’s an opening reception Friday night from 5 to 7. More information at murrayartguild.org.
The 3rd Annual Gentry House Derby Party is this Saturday afternoon from 2:30 to 6:30 at the Murray Banquet Center. Tickets are available in advance at gentryhouse.org or at the door. Proceeds support the Gentry House, which provides transitional housing and support to families with children in Murray-Calloway County.
Benton hosts the 132nd Big Singing at the old courthouse in the upstairs Fiscal Courtroom on Sunday, May 24. The morning session starts at 10 a.m., and the afternoon session is from 1:15 to 3:30. Rehearsals are held Monday nights at 7 at the CFSB banking center in Benton beginning this Monday, May 4.
