Starting Friday, the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center hosts an exhibit titled “Becoming the Volunteer State: Tennessee in the War of 1812.” The Tennessee State Museum Traveling Exhibit is on display at the Heritage Center through September 12. There’s a grand opening reception this Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4. Admission is free.
