Kentucky Supreme Court Justice and author Bill Cunningham presents “On Bended Knees: The Night Rider Story” Thursday night at 7 at the McCracken County Public Library. The presentation tells the story of the secret fraternity of farmers in Kentucky and Tennessee who led a bloody revolt against the Duke Trust. The program is free and open to the public.
The 21st Annual United Way 5K and Youth 1 Mile Race is this Saturday in Paducah. Races start and finish at the Paducah Bank main office. Registration starts at 7 in the parking lot, with the 5K beginning at 9 and the youth race at 10. Details at unitedwaypaducah.org.
