The Murray State University Horticulture Department holds its annual spring plant sale this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Arboretum and Pullen Farm Greenhouse. The Arboretum and Greenhouse are located on Hickory Street off Highway 94 West in Murray.
The Stewart County and Inman Middle School Bands give a free outdoor concert this Saturday at 1 at Fort Donelson National Park. The concert celebrates the 100th year anniversary of the national park service at Fort Donelson. The program includes arrangements of America the Beautiful, Gettysburg, Yellowstone, and other pieces about America and the National Parks. Bring lawn chairs.
The Turn of the Century Social is this Saturday from 10 to 2 at Central Park. The outdoor event features programs inspired by the time period of 1865 to 1905. All ages are welcome to learn about community history, make a new craft, or enjoy old-fashioned games, storytelling, and traditional music.
