Kentucky State Police say a complaint of a man possessing a gun at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Building in Frankfort appears to be unfounded.
Officers from KSP Post 12 and local law enforcement arrived on the scene Wednesday and conducted a routine search. They found no credible evidence of a person with a weapon at the state facility.
As of 11 a.m. local time, a routine search of the building was ongoing.
