KSP Investigating Body Found In Kentucky Lake

Kentucky State Police says a detective is investigating the discovery of a body found Saturday evening in Kentucky Lake. KSP in a release Sunday said the body was floating in a container near Colson Hollow. An autopsy performed by the State Medical Examiner’s Office identified the body to be 41-year-old Traci Jones of Granbury, Texas.

 

 

Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and the U.S. Forestry Service assisted KSP in recovering the body. The Trigg County Coroner confirmed the person was dead. 

 

KSP Post 1 Public Affairs Officer Adam did not have information on how the body was reported or what kind of container the body was floating in. 

 

Kentucky State Police Detective Cory Hamby is leading the investigation.KSP said more information will be released at a later date.
